I’m Mandy, 41, filmmaker and full-time nature lover based in Haarlem, near the North Sea. Whether it’s a sunrise swim, a gravel ride, or a windy coastal hike—nature’s where I feel most alive. With 15 years in film, TV, agency life, and social media, I love discovering hidden narratives and collaborating with people who push creative boundaries.​​

Tell us a bit about your creative journey.
I started in cinema, moved through TV and agency work, and found my rhythm in storytelling that blends emotion with strategy. I direct and produce across formats, always led by feeling, purpose, and always chasing moments that move people.

Where do you draw inspiration from?
Nature. People. The space between. The outdoors fuels me, but so do quiet moments and vibrant sets. I believe good stories often grow out of everyday life—if you’re paying attention.

 

What’s next for you?
Projects rooted in connection and the natural world. One day, a feature film that combines both.
